Deuce Bigalow is a less than attractive, down on his luck aquarium cleaner. One day he wrecks the house of a gigolo and needs quick money to repair it. The only way he can make it is to become a gigolo himself, taking on an unusual mix of female clients. He encounters a couple of problems, though. He falls in love with one of his unusual clients, and a sleazy police officer is hot on his trail.
Schneider, a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, stars as likable loser Deuce Bigalow, a fish-tank cleaner who must raise quick cash to cover damage done while fish-sitting at a male gigolo's home. What quicker way, he surmises, than become a gigolo himself. By Katherine Dillin *1/2 Raunchy, silly, unoriginal.
Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999) is the comedy starring Rob Schneider that we were all waiting for without even knowing it at the time. The story of his ascent of becoming the premiere male gigolo, all by mistaken identity, of course, is the secret ambition of all men. It puts Schneider in the enviable position once only held by a few top Hollywood stars back in the day: the girls all want him, and the men all want to be him. But we have come to this movie not strictly for laughs but also in the hope that there will be some of his johns (janes) who will show off their skin. The closest we come to that is Bree Turner, who dips her bra-less top into a fish tank and we are hooked by see-through view of her hooters. 59ce067264
